New Images Film Festival 2020 - Paris
FLAME is the show that opened the NewImages Film Festival 2020 in Paris; the performance took place on site and in virtual reality.
An immersive hybrid show
The dancer Samantha Alcon, thanks to the tracking of her movements, was able to perform on stage and in VR at the same time. The set design had the dual function of projecting the audience into a dreamlike journey through the 5 elements and framing the choreography during the performance on stage. FLAME, produced by VRrOOm and designed in Oculus Quill by SaintDenis, was nominated at the Raindance Immersive Festival for Best Multiplayer Experience.
